About Library

With modest beginning in 1992 as a college library, it has evolved and transformed to a University library in letter and spirit in the year 2008. Currently, the library milieu in Yenepoya (Deemed to be University) includes the central library and the libraries by the constituent units, departments and centres. The central library is located in a standalone air conditioned building and it is the central hub of information. It has networking as well as resource sharing capabilities to cater to the learning needs of the students, researchers and faculty

The library resources include books, journals, e-resources and ancient scripts. It provides off campus access 24*7 to a wide range of e-books, e-journals, online data bases, through MyLoft remote access tool. Yenepoya (Deemed to be University) library is a member of National Cancer Grid Consortium of e-resources and DELNET resource sharing network in addition to the HELINET consortium of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science, Bangalore. All the operations in the library are computerized with an Integrated Library Management System (ILMS) and biometric access control system is available to monitor the users of the library.

Homoeopathy Library

The Yenepoya Homoeopathy College Library was established in the year 2018. The Library has total holdings of 4780 books which include books on Organon of Medicine,

Ayurveda Library

The Yenepoya Ayurveda Medical College Library was established in the year 2018. It has total holdings of 8253 books on Ayurveda and books on basic medical science.

YIASCM Library

The Yenepoya Institute of Arts, Science, Commerce and Management College Library was established in the year 2014 at Balmatta, Mangalore.

Allied Health Science Library

The Yenepoya allied health science library was established in the year 2020 to provide library facilities for the Allied healthcare professionals and students.

Pharmacy College Library

The Pharmacy Library was established to provide library facilities for the students and faculty members of the Pharmacy College.
